Hello, *) wireless - fixed false positive DFS radar detection caused by iPhone 6s devices; this problem still persists with version 6.39rc58 please fix it is also not necessarily related to iphone 6s devices but occurs randomly (could be that a 6s is walking by, but thats just guessing) Thank you T...
strods - I already have a ticket open, Uldis asked me for remote access last Friday. Have not heard back yet, but you should already be able to access my device.
Here is something we tested here. The wireless config is default (but in addition, wmm was enabled). The router was configured in bridge mode, test is done over wireless from Macbook Pro (3 chains) to a x86 machine connected to the hAP ac ethernet port. iperf command visible in the terminal window ...
Bump about what specifically? I can share results with more than 550Mbit iperf test through hAP ac over wireless, but it seems to me, a few posters here are talking about CAPsMAN. So question unclear Not only would I be very interested in these results, but also on how to recreate them. Got a Mac B...
Version 6.39rc38 has been released. Changes since previous version: !) routeros - added support for new products and RouterOS features which will be announced at MUM EU (https://mum.mikrotik.com/2017/EU/info/EN); *) capsman - fixed "/caps-man manager interface" compact export; If you expe...
It even detected RADAR on 5260, never had any device detect anything on that channel here. German precipitation radar is around 5600. Went back to v6.38.2 and the DFS problems disappeared. So definitely some undocumented changes. @Mikrotik: Any clue what's going on? Edit: Sorry, I was on v6.38.1 act...
Either someone put up a new RADAR station in my neighborhood right after this update or there were undocumented changes in DFS behaviour for Germany. With previous firmwares it was no problem to stay on channel 116, with this release my hAP ac constantly detects RADAR and kicks my 5 GHz clients. Sam...
Would it be possible to have a (customizable) Wireless Client List like in Quick Set -> Wireless? Or a customizable Wireless Registration section?
Or does SNMP in the Pro Version display all this already?
Hmm, there has to be some MikroTik magic in this after all. If my phone roams to another MikroTik AP "registered to other device in network" is logged. If it roams to a non-MikroTik AP "device has disconnected" is logged. Does anyone know the mechanism used?
Too bad, cannot post images in this board. My hAP AC (located in Germany, room temperature, wall mounted) is at an average of 38°C over the last 3 month, about 6 clients connected, mostly idle. My wAP AC (also Germany, room temperature, lying on a shelf) has an average of 54°C also over the last 3 m...
While I am no expert on this at all, here's what comes to mind. First I would doublecheck my own equipment for misconfigurations or counterfeit products. There's always a slight chance of having one AP misconfigured or dealing with fake products that all have the same MAC address. Then I'd change my...
Great post, thank you. To also optimize 5Ghz I wanted to set my Mikrotik equipment to N/AC in order to remove A support. Interestingly I cannot choose this mode, does anyone know why?
Upgraded my wAP ac and I am getting warnings about CPU and memory being overclocked. I have never tinkered with any overclock settings, the CPU is running at 720 MHz.
Any chance we'll see increased wireless speeds with AC WLAN equipment like the wAP/hAP? 400-420 Mbit max with a MacBookPro seems about 100-300 Mbit slower than the competition...
AVM products do in fact wait for 10 minutes if one selects channel 116 and above. Just wondering why the hAP AC set to "Ceee" on channel 116 only waits for one minute as it potentially uses the Radar frequencies on "eee"?
I've done some speed tests with my new HAP AC against a 2 year old MacBook Pro. The 5GHz interface is set to Germany, channel 116, WMM on, Antenna Gain 2db. DIstance approx. 2 meters. Running v6.37rc32 with no problems. iperf3 server runs on a QNAP Intel NAS, when using a LAN cable I get around 980 ...
