I have the same issue,
any suggestion on how to fix this?
Any update on this?Hello,
metarouter feature is not yet available on CCR model. It will be implemented a some point in near future.
Mikrotik replyed with this.
Then if your using The Dude to manage your mikrotik gear you can see all the connected MACs of wireless clients for all your APs. There is no need for a special script or program.
Calea and /tool sniffer allow you to do the same, sniff and save all the packets seen by access point.
exactly, we have more than 300 pptp and many users killing meWith multicpu=no option I have no problem.
With multicpu=yes option RouterOS freeze after some pptp clients connections.
- disable users access
- system hardware set multicpu=no
- enable users access
I would assume the RB1000 would have no problems with that load....
*) updated drivers;
I wonder why you have to resist on every single idea that is presented in this forum.what is the difference between 3.123 and 3.2.3 ?
the number of revisions won't change anyway, you can call it A.B if you want
this ia 2.9 related issue. and I'm not sure about 3.0we use Vista here (I do too) and there are no DHCP problems with v3 RouterOS. If this issue is reproducable, tell me exact steps and we will test.
yes indeed, I have checked that already. What type of pigtail cable are you using?
If you are using MMCX then be sure you have RouterOS set to Ant B, if it is a U.Fl make sure it is set to Ant A.
hi,hellbound, that works on meincorrect rule! why are you adding swf if we were talking about fmv ?
[admin@MikroTik] ip web-proxy cache> add url=":\\.flv$" action=allow
That's not really fair to say that. I believe Cisco has achieved its goal and is the dominant in professional market. they have all the best engineers. simply because they don't want to enter a certain market doesn't mean they don't know how to do it.Cisco has a lot to learn.
Right, that will solve the security before authentication.ok, drop everything except port 80 to your hotspot router (so that unauthenticated users can go and login).
that is a good idea.drop pings that are not from your hotspot ip range first find out if those are pings that they use
setup transparent webproxy and you can see that.Hi - is there anyway I can see a realtime updating list of what URL's my client's are visiting? Also if they make POP3 connections, SMTP connections etc etc...? Cheers! Adam
I had setup the MikroTik Hotspot successfully. How do I enable unauthenticated users to ping the gateway?
add chain=hs-input dst-address=10.1.1.3 protocol=icmp action=accept comment="" disabled=no
then how come Asus can do it their access points just by upgrading firmware?it is not possible to make Virtual AP on the interface that is running Station-wds...
well the card specification is one thing.you can try to search for the wireless card specification to get more detailed information about the particular wireless card.
but the virtual AP won't work on Station-WDS mode, will it?Nstreme works fine between MikroTik RouterOS AP - station routers;
If you are using WDS and Nstreme, then AP - station-'wds' scenario is required.
check wiki link at top of this forum (second from right right at left top corner of the screen)Can somebody post an example of the queing that Normis is referring to? Thanks!
That's called A.I bandwidth shaping, something that our company is working on it. It is very difficult but there are some ways. specially when you're on Transparent proxy.how does the router know which download is BIG and what does it do then? slow down only the one download?
no wayi know that by queues i can control the limet but i wnat to deny or drop live cam and all prog like Download Accelerator
but if what the way to deny it without effect on image and other thing
No, it does not work in TERMINAL (only in java text field)what needs to be fixed? shift+insert works
I do suggest not to update anymore until they patched another 50 version... maybe then later give it a try... I stopped doing that since 2.9.28... lots of weird things going on since thenAfter upgrade DHCP servers on wireless devices show as invalid and will not assign an address.
I have an idea... use SSH via PHP to retrieve it thenIt's an interesting idea - I'll attempt to get it working and post result if I do
/tool e-mail send subject=($ipA . "is down") body=("the gateway is down now" . :put [/system clock get date]) to=("firstname.lastname@example.org")
/tool e-mail send subject=[$ipA & "is down"] \ body=["the gateway is down now at " & $dateval] to=[$emailaddress]
and are they separate ports like RB44? or will be detected as one or two ports?I have two of those Asound cards. I used them in a Pentium 166 running NetBSD for my home router one time. I currently use an RB532 with RouterOS.
