Multicast flooding wifi

Hi, I managed to tunnel multicast IPTV traffic using an EoIP tunnel over SSTP between two routerboards, however turning on the remote TV will flood the wifi network on the home location. Obviously I read about IGMP snooping not being supported but I thought this would not matter as multicast traffic...

Re: PPTP stopped working

No unfortunately. I tried that as well. Think I will need to switch to some alternative form of VPN instead...

Re: PPTP stopped working

The only place where a public IP is used is on the client side. I did a configuration reset of the router on that side and reconfigured the PPTP client. However, no change unfortunately. Also double checked the server side firewall settings and they are the same as when it was working. Allowing GRE ...

PPTP stopped working

I have a fairly straightforward PPTP setup between 2 routerboards. EoIP and DNS names

I noticed that when setting up an EoIP tunnel, you can specify a DNS name rather than an actual IP address. I also use dynamic WAN IP addresses and use IP Cloud DDNS.
Does this mean I no longer need to use scripting to periodically resolve the DNS name and update the EoIP tunnel (if needed) ?

EoIP and DHCP question

I am trying to bridge two sites using EoIP tunnels. One site (A) should be running the DHCP server and the other site (B) should support WLAN clients that become part of the L2 network at A and request an IP address from A. DHCP Server <-> LAN A <-> ether5 <-> bridge <-> EoIP tunnel (id=101) <-> Int...

Multiple EoIP tunnels or VLANs

Hello,

Trying to bridge two sites carrying several VLANs. Should I create one EoIP tunnel per VLAN or should I create a single tunnel with multiple VLAN interfaces?
Or should I follow some different approach? Please advise.

Thanks!
