All routers upgraded to this version now complain with "wrong checksum from <blah>" and OSPF isn't propogating routes.

Just to add more detail to this solved issue. I had this happen on 3 rb4011s in 3 different networks and 2 hapacs in two different networks, so it wasn't just a corner case.

Trying to add a VXLAN interface on rb5009 fails when trying to using a multicast group and interface, in my case bridged, with the error, "unable to set MTU". Not using a multicast group works fine. It works on older devices (MMIPs, MMIPBEs, etc.) that have been upgraded from 6.49.6 to 7.2...

All routers I upgraded to 6.47 (hapac*,wap60g*, ccr, crs*, rb2011, hex*, hexs*, hexlite*, etc.) the dynamic BPG-signalled VPLS interfaces were not added to any of the bridges specified in their configuration. Every single one had the same issue - they were all missing. As I couldn't downgrade to 6.4...
