Re: Routing LAN and VLANs [SOLVED]

Sid5632. I surely understand your point of view. Anyway, after changing subnet mask (as he said!) I was able to reach devices on VoIP VLANs. Luck? I don't know: it worked. You made the rest of the job, exactly and correctly, suggesting me learning something about subnets and masks. That's all. Thank...

Re: Routing LAN and VLANs [SOLVED]

Sid5632, I thank you so much for your clarification but...please, would you be more kind in your answer? You will surely know that Anav's suggestions about ip class just worked, even if my pool ip was wrong. It's clear, and you know it too, that neither me and Anav don't know much about subnet. I'm ...

Re: Routing LAN and VLANs [SOLVED]

Anav, thank you so much for your infos, very very helpful. So: 1) I corrected network class, in DHCP network from 192.168.0.0/16 to 192.168.0.0/22, to accomplish range I need from 192.168.3.1 to 192.168.5.254. I hope this is right. 2) I added VoIP and Hotspot networks into LAN interface list (I didn...

Re: Routing LAN and VLANs [SOLVED]

Sid5632, many thanks for your reply.
Do you think that mask is the trouble? Changing VoIP subnet mask with a /16 should solve the trouble?

Routing LAN and VLANs [SOLVED]

Hello everybody. I'm going mad. On the same router I have a LAN subnet (192.168.3.0/16, pool 3.2-3.254...5.2-5.254 ) and a VoIP dedicated VLAN (192.168.20.1/24, pool 20.2-20.254), with their respective DHCP Servers and Networks. Everything is working fine, only it's impossible for a client on LAN ha...

Re: Multiple devices, same hotspot.

Hi, everybody. I'm step away from solution. For each AP: created a virtual WLAN and a VLAN. Bridged together on a new bridge. Bridge space address 192.168.10.0/24. DHCP client on this new Bridge. Gateway 192.168.10.1. On main routerboard: created a VLAN for the hotspot. Created hotspot using this VL...

Multiple devices, same hotspot.

Hello, everybody. I'm working on LAN for a school building. So I have three MT AP's, all in the same pool (192.168.3.2/24 - 192.168.3.3/24 - 192.168.3.5/24). Each one of the AP's is correctly running a hotspot (virtual wireless interface, because we have a WPA2 on the same phisical radio interface) ...

Re: Variables in script calls. [SOLVED]

Grrrrrreat! It works. I needed to return multiple values, not only itaTime. So, in called script, I created: :global myDay do={ :return [:pick [/system clock get date] 4 6]; } :global myMonth do={ :return [:pick [/system clock get date] 0 3]; } :global myYear do={ :return [:pick [/system clock get d...

Re: Variables in script calls. [SOLVED]

Well, I must be a nerd! I can't make it work. Please take a look at what I have done: Script Ita_Time (Called Script): :global itaTime do={ :local myDate value=[/system clock get date]; :local myTime value=[/system clock get time]; :local myDay [:pick $myDate 4 6]; :local myMonth [:pick $myDate 0 3]...

Variables in script calls. [SOLVED]

Hi everybody. I'm trying to call script B from different scripts, in the same device of course. But variables declared in B are empty when used in calling scripts. Variables that I need are declared as follows (I tried to change "local" in "global", with same result): :local myDa...

Re: dhcp-server lease disable and enable numbers. [SOLVED]

van9019, many thanks for your reply. Yes, I determine manually MAC addresses I want to allow. Yes, ARP is already read only. Simply I was using "get" method for "numbers", and it couldn't work. Here the working code: :local newDynamics value=[/ip dhcp-server lease find dynamic=ye...

dhcp-server lease disable and enable numbers. [SOLVED]

Hello, everybody. I'm trying to block unwanted dhcp client connections. I wouldn't use firewall because there are already a lot of rules. I'm trying this way but if I simply block an ip address it will have connectivity until server renews the lease. So I should disable and enable again the number t...
