hAP AC Lite Power setting

I would like to turn down the power of the hAP AC lite because we want to use them in a dorm room setting. Each room would get a hAP AC Lite and the hope is the signal will not leave the room. The walls are concrete block so that helps. Any ideas would be great!

Thanks!

Re: HAP AC

Why can't the hAP AC Lite be AF/AT POE instead of passive? Is that a big change? It would make a great dorm room switch for us if it was POE. A in-wall form factor would be the next ask..:)

Re: New hardware - mAP

What about a mAP AC lite with AF/AT power and 2-3 10/100/1000 ports
This would rock in a dorm room. If the price point could be around the hAP AC Lite

Re: In WALL access point with switch

It looks like the hAP AC Lite would work if the form factor was rebuilt to attach to a standard wall box. Move the LAN IN port to the back and put the LAN OUT ports on the front. The radios are OK.

In WALL access point with switch

Does anyone know if there is a plan to make a 2.4/5.8 wap with 3-4 wired ports to be used as a direct install on an existing wall box? Ubiquiti has a wall unit but it is only 2.4ghz. with channel planning 2.4 is worthless in a dense environment. the 5.8 narrow band would give ample channels and reas...
