Yes the new CHR limits the traffic that DUDE trys to create doing its tasks with in turn hampers snmp and other monitoring severally. Well I just confirmed it ... DUDE on the free ROUTER OS is crippled because of the 1mbit traffic cap. With well over 100 nodes with almost all doing snmp traffic grap...

Well I just confirmed it ... DUDE on the free ROUTER OS is crippled because of the 1mbit traffic cap. With well over 100 nodes with almost all doing snmp traffic graphs and other custom stuff limits its ability to properly monitor the network as I did with the 4.0beta until I can find a work around ...

I love that its back and LOVE it more that I was able to migrate from 4Beta to 6.3 what I would like to know is if DUDE is limited to the 1mb traffic on the free Version of ROUTEROS? That would suck since I pretty sure with all the maps and admins connecting to it that its can do more than a meg of ...

click on "+" then "add submap"

been there since beginning
Sub Maps just creates a map in the main Map tree
Why cant the map tree have branches too.

Network Maps
Main Office
  • Floor1
    Floor2
    Kitchen
Some other Map
Some Map2

Remote Office
  • Basement
    Top Floor

They probably did load, but did not show up because they have unresolved dependencies to other mib files. See IMPORTS section in your mib file and check that you have imported all the mibs this one depends on. IMPORTS MODULE-IDENTITY, OBJECT-TYPE, Counter32, IpAddress, Gauge32, Unsigned32, enterpri...

I SECOND THAT I would Worship Satan if you coud ADD ---- Cut, Copy, Paste. Oh yea and Right Click on a object to add linkto another object (FYI worship satan is a joke) Qoute - PLEASE, by the nine circles of hell: "Cut, Copy and Paste" feature for map objects is highly required since dude was an egg.

I have the same issue canot make left and right panels Plus a bottom pamel like I did before.

I dont know if its becuase I need to do a clean config or not.

worked in the betas I could have to panels on top and one bottom panel it no longer fors in 2.0 Final.

Dude Experiance

I have been using dude for over several months. for my IT education department its and invaluable tool.

Only thing I like to see is, better reporting and more detail graphs and some kind of SQL support.

It seems that dude does no support MIBs that use Gauge32.

How do I change the display from kilobits to kilobyes in SNMP.

Is there a function or something that can do that?
