Re: Convert URL to static internal IPs

It all depends on which DNS server they are all using. If it's a mikrotik equipment, you can try using the static entries at IP>DNS. But for more options, performance and uptime I would recommend setting up a linux server with Bind dns server. (Requires some research. Easy tutorials found online) Se...

Re: Bridge mode

Just disable DHCP on RT2600 and instead of plugging the cable on the blue wan port, plug it into one of the lan yellow ports. There you go, got a bridge on RT2600.

Re: v6.37.3 [current] is released!

Hello there. Well, I'm facing an issue with IPv6 since the first time my ISP offered it, a few months ago. My problem is this: I have a link with two RBs, one RB750 as modem client and one RB433 as last mile in my home. The ISP offers me a /64 and an IPv6 address as usual. The /64 I send to a pool a...

Re: RE: Metal 52 ac - cannot use 10MHz channel on 2.4 GHz

I have just deployed a Metal 52 ac and am using it on the 2.4GHz spectrum. Setting it to 10MHz Channel Width causes errors: I am aware that Mikrotik ac does not work on 10Mhz. But I'm not even using AC Band or 5GHz. Is it possible to fix this or will I have to use Metal 2SHPn's? Thank you in advanc...

try reseting and reconfigure manually. other than that try to upgrade or just buy a new one if that one is that old..

So above is the bug report; please administer in your systems the way you can handle it best. The problem with this approach is this is a user forum, and not an official support platform. And unless you write to support@ your report is very likely to remain completely unnoticed by the Mikrotik staf...

Re: RE: Simple queues is consuming CPU too much, how to lower it?

Just a few SQ rules causes noticeable CPU consumption. Is it possible in some way to lower this consumption? Or what to use instead. I could use Queue tree - but in that way I lost possibility to see graphs of individual SQ rules... Try creating a custom queue type based on the one you have, but wi...

Update and don't use quickset. Make the settings directly without the quickset.
I guess he is just reporting the bug.. More luck reporting at support [at] mikrotik.com

I don't think so. Cable modems use their operators certificates for docsis.

It should be connected via 2nd RouterBoard.. then you should read about link failover using ospf Sent from my SM-N910C ...

Re: IPv6 /64 subnet behind a P2P link, routing?

if the /64 is dynamic then get address and /64 on master and pass the /64 via dhcp6 to slave. at slave get the /64 to a pool and set lan interface address to pool with eui64 enabled. (then maybe ospf but can work fine without if u set routes via fe80 addresses)
