Re: v6.45.1 [stable] is released!

Try connecting within Mac Address. If doesn't works, and RS232 neither you should do a reset of the config. Jumping from 6.40 to 6.45.1 it's a very very big jump and there was a lot of changes between that two versions. One of those changes was the elimination of master and slave ports. Now all nee...

Re: v6.45.1 [stable] is released!

Quite nice mess. I'll add my two cents... Old, good RB450G. Just upgraded to 6.45.1 from something like 6.40 and now can't connect through any port. 4 ports switched and one with DHCP client. Winbox says nothing (even after updating it and clearing cache). The only solution seems to be a rs232 (not ...

Re: PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

Like I said before (look also at the picture in the first post), dst is 192.168.88.255.

Re: PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

During lookup, there are 10 packets (88 bytes each) being sent. Destination port 987 (udp). The source ports differ for each try.
I can't believe it is not possible to achieve this other way than by bridging interfaces...

Re: PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

Did that. Result is exactly the same: no packets going through that rule.
During the discovery process (when PSTV seeks for PS4), there are 10 packets being sent to 192.168.88.255 (see the pic from first post). These packets are going through dstnat and not srcnat.

Re: PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

Uhhh.. that would be too easy... The packets sent from PSTV aren't even going through srcnat. I did all (at least I hope) the combinations for 192.168.88.99 and 192.168.0.4. Here are the results: fw.png As I mentioned in the first post, I've already tried: chain=dstnat action=dst-nat to-addresses=19...

That's an idea. Thanks for that! I will give it a try later on and report back here.

Re: PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

Well, my network config is more complicated and I described only part of it. The most important thing is that it's double NATed: I've got a Linksys router (for 192.168.1.0 network; distant location) that serves as a WAN for my RB435G (192.168.0.0 and 192.168.88.0 networks). After bridging wlan2 (192...

Re: PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

I was sure that I don't need NAT but I'm running out of options here. Yes, I can ping 192.168.88.99 from any of these networks. I've got about 22 machines on 192.168.0.0, 11 on 192.168.1.0 and one (PSTV) on 192.168.88.0. They all are pinging each other (I've tried connecting a PC to 192.168.88.0 to ...

PS4 Remote Play within two local networks

Hello all, I have a problem with configuring Playstation 4 Remote Play in my local network. My config is as follows: RB435G as a router. 192.168.1.100 on wlan2, 192.168.0.254 on wlan1, 192.168.88.1 on ether1; PS4 connected to wlan1. Static IP 192.168.0.4 got from DHCP; PSTV (device for remote play) ...

Re: Remote gateway over WLAN and 3G dongle as failover

Afaik, scripting isn't necessary to get simple routing between WWAN and WLAN to work. It actually should work out of the box: plug in the dongle, add ppp interface, configure it (with Add Default Route enabled) and that's it. I'm sure it worked previously on my box when the whole configuration was s...

Remote gateway over WLAN and 3G dongle as failover

Hi guys! I know this was a subject to many discussions here but something is not right in my config: Cisco/Linksys E2500 as a gateway - static 192.168.1.254, with DHCP server; RB435G as a main device for local network with following config: wlan1 (WAN) - connects to E2500 and dynamically gets 192.16...

Re: Wireless bridge with non-MT device + failover gateway (WWAN)

Is there really no one that could help me sort this out?
If something isn't clear regarding my config, just tell me and I'll try to explain it further.

Wireless bridge with non-MT device + failover gateway (WWAN)

Hey there! I'm having trouble improving my network configuration. I'm almost sure I could squeeze a lot more juice out of it. My current network setup is presented in the attachment. I hope it's clear enough. To be sure of that, here comes an explanation: I've got two APs: AP 1 - Linksys E2500 route...
