Guys, change power adapter before anything else.
It happened to me many times and each time was faulty power adapter.
Completely agreenot all ar5212 support 2312-2732
linksys wmp55ag is atheros 5212a chipset but didn't have 2.7ghz
just hunt all 5212a cards, especially from proxim b/g cards, they're all using atheros 5212a
Agree, signals will just go over your head. Pack your things and test from a distance...If you see the diagram of an omni you will see that it is like an umbrella
When you are exactly under the omni you get almost nothing but if you get 200 meters away you will get a very good signal.
I used it and wouldn't recommend this card, furthermore I wouldn't recommend any Compex product. Bad signals, too much noise...What about the Compex WLM54G? Anyone here used these before or have any opinions?
Not necessarily true, they maybe blocking all traffic except known one (21,25,53,80,110, icmp etc) so you cant access particular ports....but my ISP sad if ping works it is not the line problem. Thanks
This has to be signal/noise problem.another problem, as soon as data is being transmitted the connection drops. if nothing is transferred the connections works fine.
I understand, but setting tx-power to 10 is not gonna work, everything bellow 17 will not work properly. But we have to regulate Tx power on our country..
Yes but I have problem with time, for date I don't care. I have scripts that needs to run on specific time of the day and now I have problem doin' it manuallyOk, I just decided to set all of my scripts to start-date=dec/31/1970
I'm having this issue since beta 19...My dude keeps lossing all its settings. Its only done it since .92 version.
Then there is something wrong with the cable or card. If you are sure that everything is ok then do this:I used ip arp print, and get no data
How about you employ somebody to do this for ya?For a new user of mikrotik ,how can one set up an ISP with the products.I need a detailed diagram of an ISP setup.
