Re: New User Manager in RouterOS v7

feature request: Administrator portal or customers menu as the old one. We have customers that manage their own hotspot and create vouchers to their clients, so they manage just the users of their hotspots, the new usermanger without the adminstrator portal can't do it, so I can't create a customer ...

Re: IKEv2 - Road Warrior (NAT Workaround)

IPSec has several problems with NAT, L2TP use IPSec too, if the client is before 2 NATs it doesn't work, PPTP is not secure anymore. The best option is to use OVPN or SSTP that works great on any network topology :D

You should start by connecting to it and exporting current config ("/export hide-sensitive compact") and post it here, between <code> tags.[/quote]Hi, can you test the connectivity? If you area reaching the router. Try to ping. If you won't is that the point why you are not accessing it b...

Re: [Help] Access Bridged GPON modem in front of Mikrotik

So, you could try to put the IP 192.169.1.2/24 on the Ethernet where you connect for pppoe. It probably works too, but be careful to not put the IP on the interface pppoe, it need to be on the Ethernet interface Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk Yes, that is what I tried at first. Re: need basic understanding

Hi megaman RouterOS can be installed in a X86 PC. The PC should have at least 1 network card so the software can be "usable". If you have a tplink router, you can bridge it (for example if it is a vdsl router) and connect a RouterOS behind it to to the PPPoE client and routing. I would re...

Re: [Help] Access Bridged GPON modem in front of Mikrotik

[edit] Just struck me ... I can see that you're running PPPoE client on vlan interface. Try to move 192.168.1.2 IP address from ether1-WAN to vlan35 interface and see if this makes any difference. Thanks again, I tried it too but it is not working. It stated the same unknown0. Let's try to help you...

Re: RB3011UiAS-RM Speeds

So I'm not seen any issue of configurations. Now repeat the speed test with /tools profile open, this command will show you all the processes of the router and how much CPU it's consuming. Other important think it's to see on the interface if are getting TX or RX error. Show us the results :D Sent f...

Re: Can Mikrotik / RouterOS do multiple PPPOE trough same WAN cable ?

@flaviojunior I did it by router mark mangle and then set "routes" based on that. I added a large image above. If you understand what I did maybe you can tell me if I can improve or simplify anything. On last step I made each computer be a server on separate ISP connection, and was much e...

Re: RB4011iGS - Use of a /29 IP Block over PPPOe (OVH ISP)

The problem is that you are Natting the traffic to the computer, and filtering it from the WAN. And put the rule in the top of the firewall. So what you need to do is. /ip firewall filter add action=accept chain=forward dst-address=109.xxx.yyy.zz0/29 place-before=0 /ip firewall filter add action=acc...

Look on the 750 log, and see if there is some log of loop.
Probably it's a loop.

If you can send us a Export of all routers and a diagram how it's done we can help you more. :D

I was able to do it , now it is relatively simple after you do it a few times. I will setup some images and post details soon (maybe others need the same setup). Basically I need to - add "mangle / marking rules" on connections coming from each of my local computers, - under "routes&...

Re: The Dude, v6.38rc test builds.

The changes with syslog are not good!!
We need to separete the log from each router and save the file for like one month!!
Return the syslog like it was is better.
