Re: Future of LTE products, user feedback requested

Been mentioned before, but a modem supporting band 28 for Australia would be ideal. B28 is used by Telstra and covers nearly the entire country. Same story here in NZ Band 28 has much better coverage than anything else. Yeah, a modem with B28 would be great. Here in Brazil, 4 of 5 major carriers of...

Hi. I did my first external installation using a wAP LTE Kit to provide a secondary internet link to my home. So, the router was installed in a mast that is used for a UHF TV antenna and I got interesting signal rates to LTE 2600 (B7) since the carrier's towers are far (around of 2.3 KM). The perfor...

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

So isn't related. The bug I reported is when DHCPv6-PD get the pool name through Radius and create a route with blank next-hop to the CPE. Hi.
I noted that PVID field has the value 65 as default when add a port to a bridge under the Winbox.
Under terminal is ok, set the value 1 to that field.

The router needs to have public IP to establish the 6to4 tunnel. (or behind a NAT, DMZ is a alternative)
Probably your modem is authenting with pppoe, you can configure him to be a bridge and mikrotik doing the pppoe connection.

Are gateway IPs static at least?
The failover need an script to disable default-route from WAN1 when has not connectivity.
Edit: You can use /tool netwatch to run the script.
IP from interfaces don't need to be static to works the failover. Also works fine with dhcp client and add-default-route=no.

About the config:
NTP Client and Server in main router are fine.

Are your local devices NTP Server?
- If Yes: your config to NTP Server side is ok. For NTP Client side, lack the primary server point to main router LAN IP.
- If No: only need of ntp client config pointing to main router LAN IP.

Greak work!!
