Not sure why your RB750Gr3 does not show up with model etc. Try to do a search like this last 60 min index=* module=script script=sysinfo OR script=version NOT "log info" | stats values(script) by host It should list all devices sending sysinfo. It it does not show up, the script many not ...

HOW to get it working back on remote location!???
Why did you upgrade a remote location, just some hour after a new release?
You should wait 14 days, read the forum, and then you maybe should upgrade.
Also if its a remote location, you should have an equal local device to test it on first.

6.46.8 are more then three years old. You should upgrade to a newer version. Why not go to 7.x for all devices. Sooner or later you will not get more devices that do supports 6.x software.
6.49.11 (just some month old) is long term release and should also be a better choice than 6.46.8.

Another problem with the F1 is that its mapped to system settings for the laptop.
So to get F1, you need to press FN F1 or go trough system settings and turn this off.
That may not be easy for may that have computer controlled by company and are blocking bios settings.

Something new in 7.13+ makes the CAPsMANN part fail, even if its run in a do={} group.
To fix this I have updated scripts to 5.5 where CAPsMANN has been separated to an external script.

If you do not like to update the script, just remove the CAPsMANN part of the script and it will work.

Re: Script DHCP Lease to Simple Queues don't work since update to 7.13

Update.

Runs fine on 7.13 as well.
I just wrap the whole script in { } and cut past it to a terminal windows. This way its easy to see if some breaks (red color).

PS this i a plain router installed with just default config. So it may be some thing in your config.

Script do work fine on my 7.6 test router. Simple Queue was added for the new DHCP release, then removed if script was run after DHCP lease was removed. It may have change some thing in later version that do break it. Will do some more testing.

Re: Using RouterOS to VLAN your network

One thing I did not know and its not clearly written in this thread. If you set a pvid in /interface bridge port, you do not need to set same port to untagged in /interface bridge vlan . It will show up automatically as current untagged vlan. So tag a port as untagged ingress, will automatically unt...

This is unacceptable for a " stable" update channel It may be stable for 99.9% of all the user. You will never ever find a 100% stable software. Not sure how many times the last 20+ years I have updated stable Cisco software due to bugs, sometimes serious bugs that takes down the network....

Re: VLAN when using WLAN question

For home uses, VLAN 1 is as good as any other of the 4000+ VLAN number.
It may even be simpler to get working since RouterOS comes with VLAN 1 as default VLAN on the router.
VLAN on RouterOS is some complicated and most users do not (fully) understand it.

I would not use a to large net like 10.0.0.0/8, use /24 mask for 254 devices. As anav writes, smaller is normally better (but big enough to meet your needs) Also if you like to set up a VPN use a network that are less likely to be used by other, so skip 192.168.0.0/24 or 10.0.0.0/24. Re: Newsletter 111

I would say that Compact Flash is a dying standard, but with latest CF5.0, it supports up to 128 PB (Wikipedia)
That size card would be a nice card to have ;)

Re: v7.8 [stable] is released!

I can fully understand why MT doesn't release LT version of v7. This forum is full of reports of bugs, missing functionality and what not. There are no reason for MT to keep working on 7.8.1, 7.8.2 etc without adding any new functionality, just fix bugs Then at 7.8.50 they see that there are no mor...

Re: v7.8 [stable] is released!

I too am dying waiting for a LT release of v7.
In another thread MT did write that next version would be 7.9
I and many other would like to see a long time release, so next version should be 7.8.1 (maybe alongside with 7.9)

Re: Fully Working Mikrotik Router OS Backup Script on local storage and FTP Upload [SOLVED]

That's a very interesting idea, how do we get to compare the hash of the previous file?
That would be when MT added hash function to RouterOS :)

Re: Block Youtube on computers and smartphone apps

This is not a commercial, since it free, but you get a free Oracle VPS with: 4 strong ARM CPU (aarc64) 24 GB ram 200GB disk + much more Free for life So I can setup a proxy server/vpn +++ for free and bypass the most. I can set...

Re: Block Youtube on computers and smartphone apps

Do you say that you can stop me from browsing where I want without having 100% control of the client? PC/Mobil etc. How do you block DoH/DoQ/DoT? You turn it off in the clients. And this is what I say, to do that you need to have control of the clients, just as I did write above. In a company netwo...
