Re: v7.1beta3 [development] is released!

Is it just me or does it seem like a long time between 7.1 beta3 and the next beta. Beta 3 came out dec. 2nd and we are almost in feb. now, so just short of 3 months. let's say we need 3 more beta's and then a couple of release candidates, with this pace it could mount to more than 1.5 years from n...

Re: The big CCR2004 reboot thread (was 2004 hardware issues?)

We have 7 of these routers in production. My experience with them is: 1 we use as a route reflector. 115 days uptime. (never rebooted). roughly 2 mill routes in RT 4 we use for passing traffic for clients. 3-13 days uptime. (only local routes and default) 2 we have sitting waiting to be put into pro...

Re: CCR2004 : BGP Benchmarks

Well, I have just been testing the ccr2004 and I must say I'm pretty disappointed. I haven't even gotten to the more advanced stuff, as im already running into issues with very simple benchmarks. I have 2 servers, one on each interface with a different vlan on each physical interface. Then I run a i...

Re: v7.0beta8 [development] is released!

Im not sure what Mikrotik has done, but look at these numbers with latest ROS7 beta8 on the newly released ccr2004 Over 200 gig duplex against localhost ? They increased MTU size on the loopback interface in 6.47 *) interface - increased loopback interface MTU to 65536; I would guess they did the s...

Re: drop untagged traffic on trunk port

Hi everyone, found the solution in the frame types under interface/bridge/port.

I guess the new hw switch bridge implementatin takes a little getting used to.

drop untagged traffic on trunk port

We have a few mikrotik switches and we are using the latest RC firmware 6.41RC11 We have added a few vlans to a trunk port via /interface/bridge/vlan We have vlan filtering enabled, and everything regarding the trunk works exactly as we expect. We just don't want any untagged traffic to flow through...
