Re: PoE out detection on hAP ax2 at relatively low temperature

The answer from support: Hello, We have investigated and turns out there is no issue with the hAP ax² but with the SXT LTE6. If you will use hAP ax² in warm enviroment, there should not be issues with SXT LTE6 detection. I would suggest setting poe-Out to forced on to prevent this issue. Best regard...

Re: PoE out detection on hAP ax2 at relatively low temperature

I was able to reproduce the issue on 7.13 and 7.11.3. Also, turning the interface off/on or switching PoE mode to force and back to auto doesn't help. The product page says “Tested ambient temperature -40°C to 50°C“. My devices have issues in the range -6..+18. Once more, the reproduction steps: 1. ...

PoE out detection on hAP ax2 at relatively low temperature

Hi! I've already provided the below info to the technical support via the ticket (SUP-142024), however, it would be nice to confirm the potential (software I hope) issue. I'm observing PoE issue with hAP ax2 and SXT LTE6 kit: when ether1 on hAP ax2 is configured with PoE Out = "auto on", PoE seems to be reset (during LTE modem init ?) and SXT LTE6 kit is rebooted. This continues in a loop. SXT LTE6 kit could boot on 6 or 7 iterations successfully. Setting e...

It looks like the issue (unable to get IP via DHCP from ISP) with vlan10-wan anchored on the bridge is related to that fact that packets from CPU are not being forwarded to the switch. I added a switch rule "copy all packets from switch1 cpu to ether1-wan" and were able to get an IP via DH...

For the other way you need tagged vlan also on bridge interface, i.e. tagged=ether2,br.
This:

Re: hAP ac^2 Problems---Extremely Poor Performance found in 2.4G and 5G WiFi

All those tests are made with the same wireless frequency? Another tests with different frequencies: https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=132576#p652089 As required here: https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=132576#p652015 There are NO ANY OTHER 5 GHz network neighbors!

Hey Mikrotik!

WHEN will this issue be fixed?
Or should I initiate a refund process?

Re: hAP ac² LAN->WiFi 5GHz performance issue.

Intel 7260 slow - ha-ha! It works perfectly with hAP ac (I got stable 200..220 Mbps with it) and many other routers. As well as Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 works perfectly with hAP ac (on 5GHz). The test results you asked for are below, as expected nothing changed. Also, please check this link https://forum...

Re: Xiaomi phone low Wifi TX rate [SOLVED]

This issue is related to the chipset incompatibility between what we use in our devices, and the chip in these phones. There isn't much we can do. Newer devices, such as hAPac^2 and cAPac do not have this issue anymore. Okay, I followed your recommendation and got another issue https://forum.mikrot...

hAP ac² LAN->WiFi 5GHz performance issue.

I've bought hAP ac^2, configured it and got an issue: transferring speed from LAN device (micro server with 1 Gbps eth) to Wi-Fi 5GHz device is VERY low and unstable: 0.5..2..5..20..50 Mbps, tested with two 5GHz devices with iperf3. At the same time transferring speed from LAN device to Wi-Fi 2.4GHz...

Re: hAP ac & Xiaomi Redmi note 3 Pro 5GHz issue

It's really annoying!
When I'm trying to watch some video from the LAN with average bit-rate 6 Mbps, Wi-Fi connection stacked around 4 Mbps - impossible to watch continuously paused and interrupted video.
Please, help.

hAP ac & Xiaomi Redmi note 3 Pro 5GHz issue

Hello! I'm experiencing some speed issue with my RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT and Xiaomi Redmi note 3 Pro (Qualcomm) on 5GHz band. Channel speed is fine and stable, however real transferring speed vary from ~200 Mbps to ~4 Mbps. I've tested it between 2 devices connected to the router via LAN (GbE) and phone...
