Re: capsman WPS accept

I see professors here that give opinions about WPS instead giving answers to the question. You have to take always in mind that someone (me, in exaple) may pass here years later and read for minutes you useless opinions. This way you steal my time! 0. It may be necessary to install a printer where t...

Re: Netwatch tool + script: Are global variables truly global?

NetWatch run up-script and down-script as *sys user who have some limitation. You can create own "/system script add dont-require-permissions=yes ...." then this way you can call it from NetWatch up/down-scripts and your global's etc. start working fine. WARNING: https://wiki.mikrotik.com...

Re: CCR 1009 and SD card

The same here with CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+. The last ROS which can see the SD card is 6.49.7 . Nothing with 7.x.x up to 7.7-beta8. I hope MikroTik will not decided to cancel support for SD card reader at all, even though the usability of SD card on CCR1009 or CCR1036 (maybe all CCR) is very limited due t...

Re: caps error - "removing stale connection" since 6.49.x [SOLVED]

SOLUTION: after 2 Month I finally found the bad boy. Since my configs and scripts are 2 years old, and back then VLAN interfaces have been configurated as MEMBER PORTS of the BRIDGE (by default)...... caused the issue with "removing stale connection" /interface vlan add interface=bridge n...

Re: Colorize scripting

because fueling a flame is not why I wrote. In fact, fueling it no, but starting it yes... The usual Scandinavian troll. There you go: you've added yourself to the list of Italians to be ashamed of. You fail to understand how a company works and that it is divided into departments. You'd be able to...

Re: Colorize scripting

Gotta love the minimalism of notepad. However, I like color coding too! In fact one reason I don't use the "edit" in the CLI because of that. Personally I end up using with VS Code since it offers both RSC colors and VIM (plus helpful plugins for SSH/SCP, "prettier", JSON viewer...

Re: Colorize scripting

I SINCERELY think it's completely useless right now, for two reasons, first of all the staff should be dedicated to FEATURE EQUALIZATION between RouterOS 7 and previous versions. I think that how to manage and load Mikrotik staff is out of our business. Firmware staff could be different from winbox...

Colorize scripting

Hi, I think it would be very useful if inside Winbox, where a box permit to enter some scripting code, it would be colorized and with line numbers as in the terminal window. I often need to modify and debug scripts inside winbox and colors help. Please, Mikrotik Team, consider to inplement this func...

Re: feature request: add Port List to firewall

+1 by me!
Implementation using currently available features and reason why this would not bring much was already given above.
If you refer to the "jump" method, it is your point of view, not the equivalent solution. :-)
In example, I prefer to have all in order with lists.

Feature Request: Winbox Columns

Hi,
what about the possibility to sort columns in the winbox views?
In example I'd prefer to see "comments" in the left side of the view instead as last column...

Guys... Really?
I can't believe that nobody supports this undocumented feature on a high-end Mikrotik product!

Re: CAPsMan + WPS button (feature request?)

Do you understand that WPS is just a ways to automagically tell the client device what the password is. You are not telling the password to your staff, but you still transfer it to their client devices. It's trivial then to get that stored password on Windows devices. I also believe it's possible t...

Re: CAPsMan + WPS button (feature request?)

I need this function, too. I have to deploy a wireless system where normal customers use Hotspot and staff uses regular AP (different limitations in time, speed and surfing). Staff changes everyday and needs to pair quickly with the AP. I cannot give the password in order to avoid that staff people ...

Re: CAPsMAN frequency range feature

I need that feature, too...
Some smartphones don't support some 5GHz frequencies (>= CH 100), so the "auto" function may choose a smartphone incompatible frequency.
The only possible solution is to lock the frequency, but is not good for interference fighting!

Re: Tik App, MikroTik android utility ALPHA test

Dear Mikrotik developers, I'm mikrotik enthusiast and I work in a software house where I'm network infrastructures engineer and project manager (specialized on home automation, mobile app and software for electronics projects). I discovered this app only yesterday and I played with it the whole day....
