Re: RB4011: wlan1 disabling itself

Ok, after many tests i have a "solution" .. you just need at least one 5Ghz Client connected all the time and the wlan1 will always work. The problem is just happening when there is NO client connected for a specified time, then it will "crash" I already told this to MT support and hope they fix it ...

One interesting thing .. i have another RB4011 and it's wlan1 is working all the time. I've contacted MT Support also .. lets see what they say. I checked the supout.rif viewer and it shows "status: initializing" for wlan1 .. i guess it's maybe a driver problem (crashing or something like that)

Yes, they are stable. I also see this problem when i connect two CCR's with a direct cable.

Offical response from MT is: "do not use BFD, wait for RouterOS 7 where it is planned to be fixed" :(

But this is no solution for us

Re: BFD + OSPF + CCR1036 Issue

Anyone figured out how to work around this problem? We are trying to build a mpls network and some links are not stable 100% so we need a fast failover mechanism for ospf and bfd is the only solution. I dont want to set the regular ospf timers lower.

Does anyone have any news on this? I've found the same issue. MAC addresses of VRRP interfaces aren't learned by the bridge, so they flood all ports. I see this problem since many many routerOS versions. the problem is that the bridge does not know to which interface the vrrp-interface belongs (see the Host-table on the bridge, you will not see the mac-address of the vrrp interface, like you already mentioned) ... that is causing that all traffic...

rmichael, macgaiver is right:
24mil 64byte pps = =24mil*8*(64+ 14 (Ethernet header) + 4 (Ethernet trailer))/1000/1000 = 15,744Gbps
this is full speed full duplex - the limit is the port speed basically.
Is this also valid for firewall? Or just normal packet-forwarding?
