Re: Vulnerability CVE-2018-5390 [SOLVED]

Just a side note - it is way too easy to create those CVE-2018-xxxx entries.. Anyone stubborn enough can do it, even without any actual knowledge of the subject, i think this should be restricted to companies only, for example MikroTik should do it itself. What do you mean by "create those entries"?

Re: Vulnerability CVE-2018-5390 [SOLVED]

We use Mikrotik for SSTP connectivity from home so for example port 443 is open for connections...
Maybe filter access to the SSTP service

RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN crippled by lightning strike

So as a result of recent lightning storm several of my devices are either dead or in semi-working condition. One of the devices is the RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN - it boots, but WiFi signal is extremely weak and only usable if I'm standing right next to the RB. Other damage includes the LCD screen not worki...

Re: v6.41rc [release candidate] is released! New bridge implementation!

I just updated to the latest RC and the bridge conversion did not take in account the spoofed MAC address on the WAN port. I had to manually adjust that on the newly created bridge. This needs to be handled before the final release or people are going to have issues with it.

Re: How to detect when default gateway changes?

Hi Guys,

Thank you, I finally mange to figure this one out!

This is how I'm doing right now ( please feel free to step in! )

But I'm currently assigning a specific route for each WAN and track them using ICMP ping.

Best Regards,
geeko
I don't see the script / solution - how did you solve this?

Not sure if related but is your "/system clock print" correct?

Re: Connect ether1 (wan) & wlan2

Recently I took part in renovating couple of apartments and a house for my friends, pulled cables everywhere. I don't understand those #$^%& who save 15cents per meter, just to have huge problems afterwards. You don't get it. Its not about the cable being too expensive. And I'm not going cheap here...

Re: Connect ether1 (wan) & wlan2

Connect the STB with cable. Or hire someone to configure your perversion. Not really helpful but thanks anyway. Connecting STB2 with cable is not an option - I would need to drill the whole house or use 30m of cable to get there which I'd rather avoid. Hiring someone is an option, only if there was...

Connect ether1 (wan) & wlan2

Hi guys, new to mikrotik here. Trying to replace a few devices with a single RB2011. The scenario - a single ethernet cable from the ISP provides both internet connection (public static IP) and IPTV via LAN for two STBs (dhcp-server leases 10.x.x.x) . First STB connects via cable while the second ST...
