Re: Built in function library

json parsing seems to be the consensus in here and definitely has my vote. or maybe on devices with more storage just give us the ability to use bash, curl & jq

Re: v7.1rc3 adds Docker (TM) compatible container support

Have you managed to get any errors / logs? No reply yet from support dev team, But the main problem is lack of logs / errors. How are you supposed to debug this if no log appears. NB: container topic is added in logging and logging=yes is set. But no log appears. No logs of any kind. It just stays ...

Re: v7.1rc3 adds Docker (TM) compatible container support

But once installed, it doesn't start. Architecture is correct. I also tried to stop the other image, but no effect, Debian remains stopped forever:
I’ve tried numerous containers and I can’t get 1 to start also on ARM.

Re: PLEASE MikroTik made NetInstall version for Docker....

I started to play around with this a few weeks ago, but I didn't get that far. I've recently gave it another go and I've committed what I've got so far to Github and Docker Hub (https://github.com/Easen/mikrotik-netinstall & https://hub.docker.com/r/easen/mikrotik-netinstall). However I am stru...

Re: PLEASE MikroTik made NetInstall version for Docker....

FANTASTIC!!! meh. After playing around with it, using a docker image to flash would take more effort than it's worth. You would have to mount the update file in the container and set env vars for the flags. It's way more efficient to just run the binary. If they had a web interface for the linux bi...

Time to get CoreDNS loaded with k8s_gateway. 🚀
Although I would have rather seen podman instead of docker with the direction docker is going with subscriptions.

Re: BGP ECMP (multipathing)

Thanks. Not very hopeful on it being any time soon since v7 has been in the works for years now :'( Mikrotik spent years putting the groundwork in place, building the framework for the new routing engine to ensure it would scale and be easy to maintain. They also hired a bunch more developers. You ...

Re: BGP ECMP (multipathing)

@normis Is there any hope on ever getting ECMP implemented for BGP?! Considering it's the standard it should already be in ros.

Re: MetalLB BGP ECMP

I've been beating my head up against the wall with this for the last couple weekends. BGP establishes connection, individual routes are created in ip/routes for each device and everything looks like it's working. BUT I can not reach anything beyond the metallb ip from my home network devices. I can ...

Re: DNS over HTTPS

I'm constantly getting my logs flooded with max concurrent queries. I have increased max-concurrent-queries and max-concurrent-tcp-sessions, but still get the errors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. log 10:47:56 dns, warning DoH max concurrent queries reached, ignoring query dns setting...

Re: OVPN & Linux

Client 1 and client 2 configs and certs confirmed working on iphone. Not on my linux box or MacBook. Can not seem to figure it out. Any advise would be great. It seems the version on the computers are looking for more than the phone. The log files on the RB3011 just repeat the following after every ...

Re: OpenVPN server and duplicate packets

I'm having the same issue on my RB3011. My iphone connects fine. My MacBook will not at all. just get the duplicate packet errors flooding the log file. Frustrating. This is also with multiple client software to connect.
