So i figured it out.. of course.. :global elseup (((($upspeed*$emu)/100)/1024)."k"); This will use the upspeed times it by the EMU in this case 5, or 5%, divide that by 100 to get 5% of the upseed, then divide that by 1024 to covert to k, then use the ."k" to add the k at the end, then this variable...

Two things, The 732 is a Made for Mikrotik Product by Link Technologies, Inc. 1. You have multi-core disabled for one, second, the image you sent shown only 6% load. I would typically not put Dude on a production router, I would put it on another box, like a 433AH with MicroSD card etc.

This is simple, setup caching on your local MT, and forward requests to your MS DNS. Backup is your ISP.

Re: Support for Board with "LAN By Pass" Feature

Like I said, the PowerRouter 732 does this without issues, it is a hardware feature, not software. So if power loss does occur, it does directly connect the pins. On the PCI cards, that offer this "software watchdog", thats great, but what happens if it looses power..

For bonding, you would need to use the MLPPP, not EoIP, you can use EOIP to bond if you have another MT at a datacenter somewhere. Basically you buy traffic from them, and connect to them, regardless of what the provider is, the EoIP tunnel goes across and your internet comes from one source.

You can also use some tested x86 systems. Usually cheaper in the long run, plus no worries about, will this hardware work etc.

Due to the read/writes your proxy/cache will have, use a HD. Otherwise, performance wise (maybe startup) will make no difference once the system is running. on the HD, use a SATA at least...

Instead of posting here, create a supout, give a screenshot of what is happening and send it all to support@mikrtoik.com so that they may be able to recreate the error and/or troubleshoot it.

Looks like you are trying to forward in from public IPs to private IPs. You need NAT rules, not forward rules. YOu would also put the public IP in the DST nat for the forward in. ..

the MT user manager can do this as well, same difference as any other auth system. The real story is what and how you wish to add users. What usernames/ etc. So that makes a difference .

Its not a problem. Just read up on queues. the key is to match the traffic going local before the internet traffic. simple, and easy! If the manual don't help too much, then hit a consultant on the MT list!

Dynamic rules? you have hotspot turned on? These are rules that the system created cause you told it to enable something somewhere else. First thing that comes to mind is hotspot.

Re: auto dst-nat rule

Everyone has that long 8 char password!

Keep in mind that if you reset it or sometimes , some stock rules can come in if it was reset. Not saying it was, but the only way it could have new rules, would be if someone else got into it.

This is a feature that we have requested and in the bata forums, there were several offers. If you have a system, with two DSLs connected, I would suggest contacting MT and seeing if you can get any of there bata packages to support this! Then you can help test it ! support@linktechs.net

Re: how to connect 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 (file sharing)

If you are doing, NetBios File sharing, usually, you will need to define a WINS server. Thats the simplest way. Else a Domain Controller etc. . . . But it will work across networks just have to have the windows components working. If you don't have a WINS or DNS server, then you can just use your IP...
