No, it is not dualcore ... the CPU in this device is said to be QCA9558 that is mips-be architecture... it is rated to 720MHz as you can see in this link.

When you plan release dualcore routerboards?
I believe it would be more realistic to upgrade 4xx series multi-minipci routerboards with 9xx series CPU ... but I think this wont happen because of announced 935 model ...

Weird that they are so hot, maybe this is one of their properties and is this normal. Overheating may be caused by high SWR ... check if your antenna system is OK, that cables are OK, connectors are in good condition and soldered/crimped in a proper way and there is no obstruction close to the ante...

Not sure about the health problem, but high management cpu usage is usually caused by snmp ... try disabling snmp.

Consider adding a 5GHz AP to your existing 2GHz setup ... more and more gadgets (phones, tablets, laptops, ...) also support 5ghz wireless band and it will take off load from crowded 2GHz band.

rb951G have all - 5x eth, DC jack and POE, wifi Only does´t have Voltage monitor It also lacks serial port, microsd card slot (ok, it has usb), has less memory and smaller flash ... features that are important to some of us. Try disabling snmp if you don't need it ... I've seen high management usage in many cases caused by enabled snmp.

I'm afraid to upgrade, it seems that 6.5 has more new bugs than correction of known bugs.
I upgraded a few devices today including rb800, rb2011uas-2hnd-in, rb493g, rb450g, bunch of rb711ua-2hnd, rb751g-2hnd, rb751u-2hnd and everything works well .. at least for now.

It's not normal. i am also using RB751U-2HnD RouterOS v6.3 & it showing 15.6 MB free memory.
Try to disable as much packages as you don't use ... check under /system packages

just set up second AP with same SSID, your wireless devices will switch over to it if primary AP signal is not that great.
Apart from a short disconnect when switching between APs, which can be sometimes a bit annoying, this will work just fine.

I can also confirm that on all three of my RB2011s the interface graphs are erased on each reboot.
You also can add rb800, rb711, rb450g, rb751g, rb751u to the list ... all of these loose interface graphs with every reboot...

OK, we're back to a stable (no crashes) release, mine has not crashed after 24 hours running on a production router. Now you guys just need to concentrate on getting the IPsec fixed up. Oh, BTW, the LED's are working now! my rb800 crashed after 20h of operation ... I also lost all interface graphin...

It is never about the number of users when it comes to resource consumption (cpu/memory) ... it is always about the amount of traffic (packets/bandwidth) they will generate and other configuration options you will use (firewall, queue, nat, proxy, ...). Keep that in mind when choosing your hardware ...

Yes, latest revision comes preinstalled with v6 and will not work with old versions. This is normal that new hardware requires new software, new drivers can only be integrated in v6 RouterOS, since it has new kernel. Eventually all RouterBOARDs will come with v6.
