no, those are not the errors. I do a complete reset before pasting.

I'm not in my lab so I can't get you the error info right now.

Pasting Compact Export Error

I made a compact export of my config.

I connected via serial to the router & reset it

When I pasted in my compact export, I got several errors. It seems like things got changed from the actual export.

When I install the compact export as a file, it works fine with no errors.

Is this common?

Re: Command Line Reset with External Run After Reset File?

For an exact example, let's say the file you want to upload to the router via serial is called file.rsc. You are using a windows pc, and file.rsc is located on your desktop. The pc's IP address is 192.168.156.

What would that code look like?

by monitor, I mean check every 15 min or so to see if the site is up. If it's down, send an email.

How to power CCR1009-8G-1S-PC via POE

I see that the CCR1009-8G-1S-PC can be powered via poe. We normally use cisco sg300 poe switches, and connect the modem to port 1 on the Mikrotik, and the cisco to port 2 on the Mikrotik. If we instead connect the cisco to port 8 of the Mikrotik, which is the poe port, will that power the device? Th...
