Do note user manager restrictions on concurrent users for the different RoS license levels.

L4 only supports 20 users I believe.

That looks like a full export.

Under RoS 5.14 you can do "export compact" which will just print your changes from factory default. :-)

Pass PPPoE IP to client on different Ethernet Port

I have been asked if it is possible to pass a public ip through to host inside a network to avoid NAT'ing ?

Some ADSL and VDSL routers can do this and call it half bridge mode.

Any idea's are welcome :-)

Any update ? I appear to see the same issue on 4 different routers.

Soft Reboot will make the microSD disappear from the /system store

Power Reboot brings them back.

I have sent two supout.rif files last week and am still awaiting a response :-)

Thanks for your input guys. The switch ports are slaved off a single port. Mikrotik support said to check the CPU clock. It was indeed set to 100Mhz instead of 680Mhz (go figure - an upgrade must have done this?). I set it to what it should be (680Mhz), rebooted, confirmed setting, and ran my tests...

In Winbox go to IP.DNS and you can add multiple DNS servers there. The router will look at each of these for requests. Make sure you enable "Allow Remote Requests" and your clients send DNS to Mikrotik which then checks each of your downstream DNS providers. Or from CLI for example :- [admin@MikroTi...

It is common to have firewall rules on the Input Chain to drop access to the router. If you do not have any Input rules then your packets should be fine. It might be useful to create a firewall entry on the Input chain with a source ip of 10.0.0.0/8 and action of log to log your access attempts. If ...

From what I understand WMM does not work with NV2 as it has it's own QoS mechanism (NV2-QoS). http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Nv2

In answer to "will it interfere" I have a site migrated to NV2 which still has WMM=Yes on the wireless Settings and it seems to be ignored by NV2 so you should be OK.
