try managing switch from a port without master port (out of switching) to avoid lost management when changing switching settings, when you are done you can add this port to switching setting proper master port

You need to use L7 stuff. But it changes so its difficult to track down the specific signatures. There are plenty of boxes out there that can ID the traffic with a multitude of definitions that if they match enough of them it'll be considered netflix and then you just decide what to do with it (ie ...

Re: Two RB951G-2HnD, two SSID, two VLAN and bunch of problems

if i was you, i will do distributed forwarding (each access-point managing bridging and vlans locally). CAPS manager managing only radio resources and authentication.

Using that topology and distributed forwarding need the switch of RB951 to be aware of forwarding VLAN traffic accordingly

Re: Channel overlap 802.11ac

because "ac" actually do not add any new frequencies... simply overlap all previous frequencies. For example, on Italy the frequency range usable go from this two edges: 5490 - 5710 With 20MHz channel are available 11 channels: no one single channel is overlapped. 5500, 5520, 5540, 5560, 5580,5600,...

interesting topic because on corporate wlan using 80 mhz channels its a fantasy. without using dfs channels (because many many end devices do not supports them) its only 2 80mhz channel. with 40mhz channel you have the minimum 4 non overlapping channels (without DFS channels) to take care of co-chan...

All I wanted to do is simple queue to rate limit bandwidth by port. For eg, rate limit apply for port 80 and 443 only. The reset will have unlimited bandwidth. Right now I cannot even get any packets into the queue. Also, in CRS docs, there are mention of 3 types of queue. But it is not expanded on...
