In Firewall Filter, you can create a rule with packet limit per sec, etc. not %. On this rule you can then select src / dst address type as unicast, broadcast, etc. Look under the "Extra" tab

My understanding is that VLAN is a layer2 construct whereas the FW rules are needed to prevent the router from routing between the vlans at layer 3. However I could be mistaken but that is my impression. i agree also you can use firewall rules in bridge enabling that option in bridge general settings

dont install RC versions in production devices

The Wave 2 in the wifi card is probably more valuable than triple chain anyway.
totally agree, y prefer same power 2x2 than 3x3 , you get farther coverage

rogers3b2 , what tx-power levels do you use? Making tx-power on 2.4G band lower then on 5G band may help a lot. yes, some people call that "making organic 5ghz" but in some cases you need to lower 2,4ghz to levels as low as 5dbm, sacrificing too much coverage, only suitable for high density setups

maybe routeros have issues with that "old" card.

What happens if it simply only responds to beacons on 5g and not 2.4g for example. How could client connect to 2.4g?

i prefer export in .rsc file because its a notepad editable text file i only use backup file to and from same device and same ros version for specific test scenarios i use backup, but for production i always use rsc export, and paste manually section by section on terminal to spot any possible error...

It's because you have the wireless package installed/enabled.

Remove/Disable it, reboot and will go away.
I just downloaded main package for Hex mmips and upgraded.. Why wireless package is inserted into main, when device dont support wireless? its funny.

Huge improvement over my old RB2011.
