another option is CCR1009 passive cooling
downgrade 6.29.1 did not noticed any issues.
Say that to hAP lite. :/RouterOS is upgradable in-place from RAM - update files are not saved on flash.
and then, why testing with 6.33.3 work?6.33.3 do not supports s-rj01
CCR recognize the module and data passthrough?
Sure that it is not just an omission of Mikrotik in the changelog?
Mikrotik? some idea?
YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! So exciting!!
Any idea what the transmit power is on the lite? Will this be higher on the non-lite version?
Trying to figure out if I buy this or wait... also do we know if these will come in a 2011 chassis
chek the device reported under system -> resourcesHello,
i just received my hAPac Lite.
on winbox i only see wlan0 wich propose only 2.4Ghz frequencies.
Where are the 5GHz
Thanks for your help
Maybe(I hope) in the same time Mikrotik are working on a dual band version of cAP with 3 chain ac & 3chain b/g/n with gigabit port/ports version also.
I have acquire several S-RJ01 for this CCR1072, electrical SFP (ethernet) and I am not able to see the unit thru winbox connecting my computer directly to the S-RJ01 port. Why is this happening?
I have changed qtype also. but same result. Anything else i can do ?make a new queue type with pfifo and queue size to 200-300 and attach that queue type to ur simple queue
- Do new Dude work as SysLog server like previous ?
- Is there package configuration, where to store files ?
All of us are waiting for it mate haha.
Mikrotik have been dragging their heavy feet with AC whilst the competition are releasing Rev 2 designs.
is the hAP lite enough powerful for internet link 50Mbit/s / 5Mbit/s used by the five home users?
Thank you in advance.
We are doing it now:I need to be able to use the partition feature, 16mb flash is useless to me.
Please document flash sizes.
Hello, somebody solved the problem?
I know one solution, but it's not good.
Because, I have to use a script to create additional sub-queues.
taken fromNote: SwOS uses a simple algorithm to ensure TCP/IP communication - it just replies to the same IP and MAC address packet came from. This way there is no need for Default Gateway on the device itself.
I'm missing this on the RB3011:
Memory card type 1 x M.2 SDD (which can be used as bootable drive).
Tomorrow we will have it:)
Whre could we download newest version ROS for that board (RB3011)??
usually equipment its managed from management networks not from user networksok
but my idea any neighbor routers can't be discovered if ip renge 254 ip
by this Two Options i can allow to 1 or 2 o 3 or 4 users to discover router from 250 users
Oh. I have overlooked that one of his devices does not have dual chain radio...
yes and with only 10watt of power consumption i guess it has no fans totally silentOh, c'mon! Everyone loves rack-mounted stuff - it looks so professionalHoping a desktop version is not far behind, the RM version won't fit where I want to locate one (To wide)
You should really stick to 20 Mhz channel width on 2.4

Can you explain please?

its niche, fading market.
and had not much sense to implment VDSL when telecom in state on transition to gFast(and some already start testin gFast phase2 gear), anyway.
its simpler to connect VDSL modem by patch cord to you RB(or other ROS-driven device).
for DB SOHO devices:
have you tried HAP AC ? for example ? its ultra-cheap cute thingy.
so unless you need excellent RF and throughput(which is overkill and over-pay for SOHO, anyway)its nice option
nice!!!Maybe you will find this interesting:
