Re: NetWatch mail trouble.

Several things can be wrong, If you are on a routed network, does it all work? Best way to test is to see if you can reach that ´further down the line router´ with winbox, and vice versa. This way you know IP configuration with routing is setup properly and TCP/IP and smtp traffic should work fine. ...

Hi Thom, Thnks for that answer. I´m going to try it out asap, but that will be later tonight. You are right about the use of the different networks. I made the 10.50.60.x network to reach all antenna´s on a different network than all clients. I´ve had regular ip conflicts (coming from clients) when ...

Routing problem?

I have a wireless network with all wireless interfaces (CPE´s and AP´s) with fixed ip addresses in 10.50.60.0/24 network. Client PC´s get ip from DHCP server on Gateway 172.25.30.1 in the 172.25.30.0/24 range. All MT interfaces (AP´s and CPE´s) also have ip adresses (fixed) in this 172.25.30 network...

How to block Second (Unknown) DHCP server on network

I have a network with Hotspot set up. Most works fine but at times have clients that play around with their ADSL routers from previous providers and they use only the LAN side to connect to my network and their PC. Usually by default most of these have DHCP server enabled. Off course does my network...

But how should my topologie look like when using MT base CPE´s?
Set them up as ´bridge´ (bridge all interfaces) and have a hub/switch behind them to connect to different users of the HotSpot?

With ´true´ bridge mode you mean a sort of ´transparant´ behaviour? Then Client PC´s just are shown by the host, not the CPE´s mac? The client CPE´s are all SmartBridges, I can´t actually change their behaviour I think. Webmaster: According the log my origianal message was post on 12:35 am Fri Mar 0...

I have set up a Hotspot in a wireless environment. To save on cost for CPE´s some CPE´s (Not MT) have two or more clients (users, or for instance several PC´s with a hub or switch) behind that CPE antenna. The authentication takes now place on the first node that logs in because the hotspot binds th...

I'm at the point of ordering more rb's for extension of my wireless network (Small wisp). Presently using 3x rb112 based unids.
Why is rb500 serie still used for wireless purpose when 112 does the same for less money?
Or has the 500 serie advantage above the 100 serie?
