thanks mikrotik team i cant wait the get hold of them as i will make good use of it
maybe next will be a 19 or 20dbi sector type device.


as right now i use rb800 or 433ah with ubuquity sector dual for my setups with a bit of modification

on solar so if the solar pannel get stole relay opens and send output to mikrotik and mikrotik smses me pannel is gone

on there uses and put door switch on relay and when door is open mikrotik emails me door is open

on a 535 board

and 433ah

i upgraded the 535 to v 5.2 beta and problem seemed to stop its been running fro 13 hours now no problems

but ping when from 1ms to 2-5ms

but its stable

PHY ERRor did you get it fixed as i have 6 boards doing it wireless works but not ethernet

looks like hardwer broblem on ethernet poe port has popped

i got this from using poe

i found a way to triger output on the mikrotik hardwer

it it possable to trigger output on any router board dont need fan output to make this work simple and easy who wants to know ill post on the wiki when done

frying and freezing routers in 2010. Xezen i would suggest you to shield your box from direct sunlight, so box does not get that hot, i do not think that there are many affordable high power devices around that would survive that without additional help, like shading the box, forced ventilation etc...

3 didnt work well at all but thats why the test as i have 6 boards on 4.3 and 6 on 2.9

same thing exept the heat in th boxes

i have been doing some tests on the 133c and 133 routerboard due to the 100% cpu usage and found somthing intrusting i found that if its in a smallerbox and running 12v the box getts hot and the cpu goes up to avarage 100% then i used a bigger box with 12v and cpu goes to avarage 80% but comes down ...

what you can do is set up 2 proxys and route examples from 10.0.0.0/24 port 80 can go to 192.168.1.1:8080 and from 10.0.1.0/24 port80 can go to 192.168.1.2:8080 so everthing that goes to and from 192.168.1.1 go through wan1 so everthing that goes to and from 192.168.1.2 go through wan2 thats the eas...

well it can becouse you have more options


wit can be done with 2 proxy setups to keep it like that but we are waiting for mikrotik to make some type of sync connection for proxys so whats on 1 proxy will be on the other

well cant the mikrotik team export a list every now and then of bugs found that us as users can be aware of bugs

as not everyone uses all the features on the board and when we want to try use them we can look on the list of known problems of the diffrent packages so what does mikrotik think of this?

and works well

i found that 4 seems to run better as in the past winbox cpu use to run 10-14%

but now 1-3%

thants reel cool im going to test this on a rb133c routerboard to see what it does as 2.9.51 is so outdated but runs the best on that board

start again
uninstall hotspot reboot reinstall reboot

and recreate hotspot
or
upgrade to 3.30

on mikrotik rb i can set ether bort this option interface ethernet edit ether1 bandwidth but it dont work even if i set it 512k/512k it stays blank but i can not set this option on a x86 box with mikrotik os on can anyone tell me how to set a limit on a rb via the inteface or is it a bug :( (bug)

you say from sat link are you in SA and what is your share ratio on that line is it a unccaped as i have a sat link and a fiber and i can see the diffs make shore its not your modem link make shore you get full usage on the modem first then add other links and do more tests tests tests never killed ...

have you tryed moving your link o the front of the roof so that you cut out the noise on the roof?


so your 20km link becomes 19.7km


i always try keep my anntennas close

well upgrade you say 2.9.? we are working on 3.30 so i wonder how many bug fixes there are from 2.9 to 3.30 lets look i can only find this on v3 so upgrade and see if it fixes you problems first What's new in 3.30: *) added connection-rate matcher; *) receiving too large frame (>1540 bytes) does not...
