Re: IPv6 TODO

I am impatient to see full IPv6 PPPoE-server support in ROS. I would allow me to throw away several ciscos.
It works here (ROS 5.4). I just miss dynamic ipv6 address-lists.
Can you pass IPv6 network routes to attached PPPoE clients assigned through Radius?

IPv6 mangle action: SET PRIORITY

Am I wrong or there is no way to change frame priority to IPv6 packets through firewall mangle? I need to prioritize VoIP traffic on wireless interfaces, using NV2. For IPv4 I am using a firewall mangle rule that matches DSCP-EF (46) and sets priority 5. But I don't know how to do the same thing wit...

Re: IPv4 to IPv6 proxy

It would be more useful the inverse: to allow IPv6 only users to access IPv4 content.

Request: IPv6 over PPPoE - automatically change TCP MSS

I am provisioning customers with IPv6 over PPPoE. I found out that there are MTU issues when customers connect to services that have a misconfigured firewall preventing PMTU discovery to work. If I add mangle rules that adjust TCP MSS in SYN packets to 1432 when it's bigger, the problem vanishes. Th...

Re: Feature requests

It would be nice unix tar or zip support on files, so it is possible to transfer (via FTP / SFTP / drag'n'drop / whatever) a single file and then check integrity and extract the contents inside the router, through CLI. It would be useful (as an example) for remote firmware upgrades. It happened to m...
