Re: Please make a Gigabit Reverse PoE switch, with 14-24 PoE in ports, 1-2 PoE out ports, and a SFP(+) port

I found a SFP+ ONT on a stick optic:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001075949216.html

Haven't actually bought one and tried it. But it is an example of something you could use with an SFP+ uplink port.
But, it needs be compatible with MikroTik devices and with different OLT's.

So, you need an enterprise router that comes with all that you need. Your requirements most probably are not compatible with "home line" devices.

If RB3011 have all your hardware requirement, choose it, or better choose some CCR for other requirements on the future.

To connect to console, first, the router must have a console port.

Cables: USB to DB9: Trendnet TU-S9
DB9 to DB9: TrippLite P450-006
DB9 to RJ45: Cisco 72-3383-01

Not use generic cables/adapters, may cause problems.

Also try to set 1g only on you Mac.

Anyway is weird that the auto-negociation can't do it at 1G.

I'm not sure if it is a well known connector like u.fl, but you can try to connect a small antenna to it by some way and see if works. Probably works, it says that works with 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz antennas. The most probably recommended is atatch a dual band antenna to use both chains.

Re: RBM11G + R11e-LTE not working

Then, probably the problem is that you not have DNS servers on your DHCP. If you see the IP details of your interface of your PC probably the DNS are empty.

You can upload a screen capture of your PC interface details.

You don't need to create a DHCP client manually or bridges. You need to create the APN profile and set it to the interface. If all is correct you will see a "R" letter on your LTE interface that means that is running. After this you need to create a DHCP server on your ether1 interface usi...

Re: Outdoor sector antennas solution fo AP mANTBox or NetBox

I prefer NetMetal 2x2, is more flexible. You can add different kinds of antennas. MIMO 2x2 is very popular and you have a diversity of antennas. mANT 120º is too specific design. NetBox is the same, but plastic (I prefer metalic case). NetMetal 3x3 if you not need it, choose 2x2.

It dependes how do you need it. If you want an access point or bridge use station bridge or station bridge + virtualAP. If you want a router, use station mode and if you want add wireless capabilities, add a virtualAP.
