Re: 433AH..3 SR2's..90 clients....abnormally high pings

I have a simple policy 1 X radio card = 1 X routerboard (433ah), and use something like RB750 to combine the sectors.

Microcells - is the sectors of your AP feeding these microcells direct or do you use a PTP link ?

Are you using dynamic ACK timeouts ?

You may also want to not let the radio change the modulation scheme if you are looking for a stable link for voice. i.e. leting only the rate 24 on the AP then the AP will use only 16QAM and probably will hold stable at 100%/100% rx/tx CCQ.

Re: Multiple power supplies

Since I cange all my 18V PSU to 24V I don't feel requirement for redundant power supply solution :))
You say changed power supply from 18v to 24v, Are you now running all of your devices from one single 24v power supply,
or have you a 24v power supply for each device,

Re: Multiple power supplies

If you not exceed Absolute Maximum Ratings it's very stable. Regading ralay devices all this devices have bad MTBF rate. And I am not use it for any serious application.
This is good news, can i ask have you have tried this method and works for you, thanks

Allocating bandwidth priority for VOIP at the CPE

Hi,

How do I allocate bandwidth priority for the allowance for VOIP calls, If at the CPE the customer is uploading/downloading at max, I want if the customer attempts to use VOIP, this call is allocated bandwidth for the call regardless of how much the upload/download is maxed out.

Step up from 493ah

I am running out of ports on a 493ah and would like suggestions on what Mikrotik device is the next step up from it,
the 493ah is used as a switch to combine AP'S + PTP's, with some of the ports are routed and some bridged.
