Re: any fix yet for Macbook Pro 2016-2017 not working with hAP ax3 wifi?

Yes, macOS is very stubborn. If you joined a SSID with WPA3, it will try it again, no matter if you removed it from recently used SSIDs.
Just for sake of experiment, set a new SSID in the hAP device

Re: any fix yet for Macbook Pro 2016-2017 not working with hAP ax3 wifi?

OK so this could be the cause. MacBooks sometimes remember old config, even if you changed it. Try another SSID. It will think it's a new network and will reconsider the settings.

Plenty of people here use that generation of macbook without issue, so it must be either a macOS config issue or ROS config issue. Try and configurre OS as 5ghz-ac and remove WPA3 and see how it works then.

You mean the Wake on LAN feature? First test if the command does what you need it to do.

If yes, then add this command to the "on-event" field of "/system/scheduler" and set the time, when it should be run.

It is not, that's why home user can use "MikroTik Home" app, or rely on the ISP to configure their device. Some mobile operators don't even allow access to RouterOS to home users. The strength comes in the feature set the ISP has available, not on user friendliness.

Yes, those are actually LAYOUTS. You can save predefined layouts, for example with wireless windows, with firewall windows, any commonly used window layout. It is not bound to router. And you can switch between these layouts, without need to close and open each window.

Seems you have an IP address conflict. Winbox can't "accidentaly" connect to another device. Most likely they both have the same IP. Or maybe you have some DST NAT rules in the router? In any case - Config needed. Post config of the routers

What is the difference with this BTTH vs Zerotier?

Biggest difference is ease of use. To use BTH you only need a phone and the router's password. You don't even need to ever see Winbox or any other router config. Just connect and click enable.

Re: NEW FEATURE: Back to Home VPN

Like I said above, you can't use multiple devices with the same settings. You must use the new Share feature in the phone app, to make a separate tunnel for each new device.

snowman62 it should not be like that. If you have specific example, just make a report to support.

99% of people upgraded seemlessly. that's why I'm asking.

Hello, I use BTH between an iPhone and an Audience. The Audience is behind a CGNAT (LTE) network. A reboot of Audience is necessary every day for it to work. Audience is connected to the internet but without reboot BTH from Iphone app no longer connects. I don't understand what's blocking it. Disab...

Re: NEW FEATURE: Back to Home VPN

We have released new Back To Home apps for both iPhone and Android. Some exciting new features have been added - sharing of tunnels. Normally you only could use one device to connect to the router (as seen above, using multiple devices causes problems). Now you can invite others to use your router, ...

Re: Trying to update an already updated ros version

Use v7, it is time.
There will be no updates for v6

Or just stay on long-term where there is no error. Like I said, there is no new version. It is just confused software.

Re: Trying to update an already updated ros version

It is because we changed the label of this version to longterm. Number of version is the same, but timestamp is different, so the software is confused. You have two options: 1. Change to long-term channel and upgrade to the newer, but identical 6.49.10 2. Change to Upgrade channel and upgrade to v7

Re: Wifi radar detected

Well like the above poster said, radar detection happened already, but the result was, that there is no free channel to use, since radar overlaps the frequencies you selected. So you will have to use some other frequencies, if there is a radar operating nearby. Meaning the radar detection did not ta...

Ullinator, that is not true. Nothing has to be changed on the CAP even in new capsman. Make a new topic, if you are not sure how to use it. There should be no reason to manually configure CAP clients.

It means that if you do a Factory Reset on Audience with earlier version, some incorrect wifi password could have been set on it, even if the device came without password from factory. Now it's fixed.

I have talked to our bigger experts about this case, so to the OP: In your example you are comparing different architectures, you are saying your TILE router had only around 1% CPU useage, but in your ARM router it's around 25%, while as far as I can see, performance is still very good. This is not true, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you were banned from the forum for your style or angry writing, not for asking about gpl. Just let out your anger in some other place and simply go and ask mikrotik for the GPL source. Maybe if you tried it, you would know the truth.

What you write is complete nonsense. We have been giving out source code according to GPL requirements for many many years. This is why I asked if you only rely on 10 year old posts or you actually tried to ask yourself
