I hope you are wrong too... v7 is at least 2 years away... + the time to kill all the bugs with new version... I can't wait that long, I risk loosing customers to competition.I have no clue but I would speculate that it comes in v7.
I hope I'm wrong though.
You also can add rb800, rb711, rb450g, rb751g, rb751u to the list ... all of these loose interface graphs with every reboot...I can also confirm that on all three of my RB2011s the interface graphs are erased on each reboot.
It will run OK except I don't think it can manage full 50Mbps through the VPN ... I've tested it on 20mbit link ad cpu usage during VPN transfer was quite high ...Hey,
Does the RB2011UAS-RM have enough power to act as a NAT/Firewall for FIOS running at 50Mbps and also to run a VPN?
-Eric
Read again... he used port 1The problems you describe only happen on upper ports (eth 9 and 10)
Dont use those 2 ports and it will all be fine
What about CCR ? ... I was under the impression that CPU supports it ...Just like the link says, there are two. No reason to doubt the manual.
Host it as torrents only and bandwith should not be an issue any more ...
our download servers only host new versions. also hosting old versions would futher kill our bandwidth, but we may think about it.
I welcome this option ... any more info on this (when?) ...
- Supported mini PCI vpn acceleration cards like skoekris and Cavium cards
Has anyone tested the new RB2011UAS-2HnD for this issue?I guess my suggestion to anyone wanting to try one of these units would be to just go with something else since we can't seem to get rid of this crazy noise inside these boxes.
Or any RB2011 with minipci slot(s)?Does anyone know if there will be a wireless rackmount version of the RB2011 ?
