Re: Increasing Internet bandwidth with 2 Provider

You are probably looking for bonding to increase the "sum" of your bandwidth. You will have to work with each provider to do that. You could do some simple load balancing to share the use of each connection.

WDS and N

Why are you using WDS with so many connections? With WDS your bandwidth gets divided by how many WDS clients are connected. There might be a better way to achieve your goal.

If there is not enough space after removing files you are prob going to have to Netinstall your board to get the space freed up. I have only seen this on boards where the dude was or had been installed and the logs had eaten up all of the space.

Re: recomendations on VPN-tunnel btwn offices

I would not recommend using IPSec with the 700 series boards. You will not get anything near your 100mbit connection. Stick with PPTP or L2TP. If you need IPSec you should get two RB1100AHx2.

I would do the RB1100ahx2 instead of multiple 493AHs. The setup would be less complicated and the most important part to me is you would have less points of failure. You could take the RB1100 out of its case and mount it in whatever you would like.

Unfortunately I don't think you can. You can write a script for on you computer to run on connect that would add the routes needed.

If you were going to another router you could use OSPF to send routes.

You need to bridge the AP. Then all addressing will come from the MikroTik and you would have to worry about Hotspot...
