Hi,
Hoping someone can explain to me what is happening here and why.
We have an RB4011 with the Hotspot system running for our Authenticated WiFi. Runs brilliantly, authenticating with Radius against our AD Server. I have it setup that one of the Radius parameters that is passed is a Group Name, and that group name is used by the Hotspot to add the IP Address of the wifi device into one of three Address Lists. These address lists are then used by the firewall to restrict/allow access to other things on the network… so, in other words, we can use the AD Groups to control who can do what from our WiFi. As I say, works brilliantly.
I can see all the IPs dropping in and out of the various address lists… all good.
What I don’t understand is that, for each of the Address Lists in question, I permanently have 0.0.0.0 in the list.
Can anyone explain what this is doing and why it’s necessary to do it?
Thanks
Colin
