0.0.0.0 IP ??? is it a virus ???

Hi there,

Sometimes when I do torch on any of my nic cards, on Src.Address I ‘catch’ packets with 0.0.0.0 IP. Is this somekind of bug in mikrotik or there is a virus that generates these packages, but when I check every field in torch, I cannot see that IP anymore.

0.0.0.0 is a reserved address for default routes… This is normal, it is not a bug.

0.0.0.0 is used by computers before they have an IP address. Usually it’s associated with DHCP requests.
