Hello Folks
I recently established a wireless backhaul ptp link between my upstream provider and my datacenter (1.3km) with one RB411U (Bridge/Master with an R52hn card only chain 0 connected to 23dbi lanbowan panel antenna) and RB433 (station-bridge/slave also with an R52hn card only chain 0 connected to 23dbi lanbowan panel antenna).
I am experimenting with the NV2 protocol and both RB have latest firmware and ROS 5.11. Please find below screenshots of detailed setting, bandwidth test, spectral-history and topographic sketch in the pdf file attached to the post.
As can be seen the bandwidth sucks - 13mbps down and 2.3mbps up from station bridge side (given a steady signal strength range of -55dBm to -57dBm approx although noise floor seem a bit high -105dBm).
i will be very grateful if the ht-above and ht-below channel specification could be explained well to me with respect to using 40mhz channel width
This is very frustrating given the clear line of sight and large stock of RB433 boards and R52hn cards i have in stock (could it be the pigtails from the cards to the enclosures?) I am beginning to think these are fake boards
your assistance to rectify this problem would be very much appreciated ![]()
