100Mbps SFP in RB2011

Hi.

I just bought a dual rate BiDi SFP for my RB2011, but I cannot get a link.
My ISP is running 100Mbps, but no matter what I do, I cannot get it to work. How do I get a link?

rb2011 don´t support 100Mbit sfp. You need from your ISP 1Gbit SPF…

Will there ever be support for 100Mbps SFP?

In short - no, you need very specific SFP transceiver for that

Long:
SFP cage connection to CPU supports only 1,25G (1G) data transfer rates.
So SFP transceiver must have support of 1,25G (1G) connection to board
But it is possible to find SFP transceiver that do laser at 100Mbps, but supports 1G connection to board.

Ah, that makes sense.

The SFP I bought supports dual rate, and as far as I can see, communication with the SFP itself works fine.
Is it possible to force the SFP to do 100Mbps?

I get a link at 1Gbps when turning off auto-negotiation, but it seems I cannot get any data through.
Probably because the SFP at the other end is 100Mbps.

Please tell me if you find one I need an sfp with 100mbps fiber side and 1.2G connection to board like you mentioned.wavelength 1550tx/1310rx Bidi. Please help me.My ISP is arrogant and will not change to a gig mc at his side.
with regards,
Kalpak.
