10GHz miniPCI

Is it possible to use RouterOS / Routerboard with some 10GHz cards? Do they even exists? Or is Mikrotik planning some 10GHz cards?

no / no / no

then what about this:

i think it’s an external converter, not a true 10GHz device

I am only thinking, what to use for ptp links instead of 5GHz. Now I have 5GHz ptp links, but clients are also in 5GHz frequency spectrum. And I wanna to separate it a little. And also gain a better speed / latency.

use different polarization for your customer and for point to point

My ptp links are H pol and also both pol V&H, clients are V …

normis… what is this company offering? >>> http://www.idearf.com/

is that true 10GHz based on Mikrotik? would be wonderful to find out.

Like I said before, RouterOS sees that card as 2 or 5GHz, but it actually transmits at 10GHz. It has some converter inside. Basically you achieve the same result, so I guess you can use it.

same result???

same speeds as 5GHz ???
same performance as 5GHz ???
how will RouterOS keep the bandwidth ration??? ( for 5GHz or 10GHz )

what would you personally recommend normis? should one offer such a system or no? i mean not as an user but as an integrator

RouterOS sees it as a 5Ghz card, so all speeds, specifications and capabilities are the same as any other 5GHz card, just the actual carrier frequency will be 10GHz. I have no experience with such converters, so I can’t say much.

yes, but it is only in one polarization, or too expensive.
