1gb/s Internet. Whitch router need to choose for...?

Hello!

I have rb750g3 with 4 kernels by 880mhz. The only speed i ever seen - 350mb/s on gigabit channel
through the router to PC. Meanwhile the CPU on router loads only for 30-40%. Is it some program restrictions of ROS?
If i connect cable directly to PC - can see 600-800mb/s on same tests (speedtest.net).

PS
My internet - direct IP by dhcp from provider.

Router should perform better - is the device up to date and are you running a recent default configuration?

You may post output of terminal command /export hide-sensitive here.

Of course… Any variations of config gives maximum 350mb/s. Not higher…

This is based on default configuration (manually applied via /system default-configuration print) and speedtest.net.

Really strange…
OK, tnks. Will try other devices for test… (

How are you testing? Do you use multiple streams?

Expect between 400 and 800 with the hex. You wont get full gigabit.
Depends on the number of rules and how they are setup.
600 should be attainable, so yes you do have issues.

Of course, this router have to do that. Or... possible variations with...?

I know. But i saw maximum 350… I will test it soon again. Will see…
