Can i connect 1x sector to each of the 3 chains on a single radio and cover a 360 degree radius? Acting as one AP same channel.
(I know 4 would be better with deadspots).

You can do that but will never work like a 2x2 sector. Performance will be lower. A dual chain omni will be better.

Throughput is not of concern to me, I have very limited WAN capacity and it’s a remote solar site so i’m more concerned with limiting power usage and reducing the points of failure down to only a couple of hardware devices. If i can keep most of the services on the one device. ie. 3g (yagi), wifi ap mode (sectors), wifi client mode (ptp dish), and satellite via ethernet. I only have to then worry about power generation and delivery. something like the RB953GS-5HnT would fit the bill nicely. Wouldn’t it be great if i could find a minipcie satellite modem to slot straight in !
