2,4 GHz Base Station Professional settings

I created this post for settings and config sharing to find the best way to configure our Base Stations for providing better services"

My config:
I use RB600 with 4x R52 on 2.4GHz B, Default forward is automaticly disabled, Mode is AP Bridge in bridge mode without routing. I hawe rules in Bridge filt to disalme broadcast and multicast and disable trafic betwen clients on 192.168.0.0/16 subnets.

I have rules to limit connections maximum is 50 , for p2p is maximum 4 netmask 32 and I am limiting P2P traffic, too.

  1. Config wireless interface… for eg.:
    data rate,
ACK (indoor, dynamic or static) ?,
Are you using Noise threshold?, Yes , Why?
What do you thing about periodic calibration, enable or disable this future and interval settings?,
or something about adaptive nois imunity…
    Burst time …
  1. To achieve max available data rates use default settings. Non-default options are used only when you need to decrease data rate [rates flapping, other options].

  2. Ack-timeout, consider indoor value when client is close to access-point.

  3. Noise-Threshold option is used only for old chipset, it should not be interesting for you.

Look at this article, you will find a lot of interesting information there,
