pls. kindly advice.

What are you wanting to use the wireless for?

That is to far for BYOD, the clients radio won’t be powerful enough to reply at 1km and you can’t get a large enough antenna to make it work.

I will use it for one 5MP IP Camera. and the 2.4 Ghz should have protocol for Multicast and unicast.

i will use two 15Dbi parabolic antenna PTP for 2.4Ghz wireless link.

With LOS it should work fine. If the offshore is stationary then a grid or yagi should be great. If it is movable like a boat then a sector or Omni would work. Any Mikrotik Router board would work. Make sure you get one with a AP license Level 4 for the shore side.

The best solution would be have a CPE on the remote end and an AP there to rebroadcast.

Thank gcs,

Is a fixed PTP link for IP Camera. I will use RB711-2HnD with Dual polarization of Grid antenna or disk antenna.

Mikrotik RB711-2HnD has a Multicast and Unicast protocol?
