2.4Ghz band: concurrent "disconnected, group key timeout"

Hello,

one of my major problems is the concurrent disconnection of clients on 2.4Ghz band

for the last weeks I changed dozens of parameters and did software upgrades and downgrades:

  • logging says: disconnected, group key timeout
  • releases: 6.37, 6.38, 6.39, 6.40
  • CAPSMAN forwarding
  • WAP AC
  • 2.4Ghz band
  • Group key timeout: 01:00:00
  • clients have good signal (-60…-70db)
  • tried different settings: b/g/n, g/n, n-only
  • different rates
  • HT Guard interval: long, keepalive frames: enabled
  • changed hw. retries, hw protection, disconnect timeout
  • channel width: 20 Mhz
  • frquency doesn´t matter:
  • lowering tx power
  • different buildings
  • manuel setting of frequencies


    So, what are your best settings (maximum stability) for your clients?

Have you done a spectrum scan? Which kind of security are you using?

WPA2 EAP
AES only
spectrum is clear. changing channel on 2.4Ghz doesn´t help.
Hint: I do not have any problems on 5Ghz
