2.5 Frequency

Hi all

I use Mikrotik version 2.9.6 with WRAP BOX and Atheros chipsets radio card.

1- Could anyone advise me what to do to get 2.5 frequency supported with above hardware and OS?

2- Are there any problem with Mikrotik version 2.9.6?

Hi

I bought the Atheros card from Senao.
I talked with Senao engineer and he said the following:

For Mikrotik, users usually need to get license to open up the 2.5GHz
frequency channels. Mikrotik has drivers to open up Atheros chipsets
frequency channels.

I also bought license level 6 from Mikrotik already.
So how can I get the driver from Mikrotik to open up Atheros chipsets frequency channels (2.5)

  1. Your card should support 2.5 GHz, 2.5 GHz is not supported by certain cards.

  2. If you are sure, that card supports 2.5 and want to use it, contact support about it.
