So, I’m seeing that ROS has some new options, but I’m having trouble making sense out of them and also getting them to work.
/interface ethernet> set 3 advertise=
10M-full 10M-half 100M-full 100M-half 1000M-full 1000M-half 2500M-full 5000M-full 10000M-full
/interface ethernet> set 3 speed=
1Gbps 10Gbps 10Mbps 25Gbps 40Gbps 100Mbps
This is on a CCR1072 running 6.45.7.
So, I can advertise 2500M, but I can’t set the speed to 2500M? I’m trying to set up LACP to a Calix E7, which supports 2.5G on it’s SFP ports. I think we can all agree that 5G aggregate is much better than 1G aggregate. I’d rather use 10G, but ports are tight on the Calix gear.
Any suggestions on how to get a 2.5G link up and running?
