2.5g sync - bell Canada fibe

I’m not sure if this a bug in RouterOS or something on the bell side causing the issue.
Or possibly I have something configured wrong… (Mikrotik noob)

I have a work around, but I wasn’t sure if I’m the only one.

I have a CCR2004-16G-2S+, with a bell sfp module it’s not the Huawei.
When I have the sync speed set to 2.5g (this sfp is 2.5g) it will not connect, no link

however if I set it at 1g let it connect, then set it at 2.5g it works.

I have a script set at bootup to set the speed to 1g wait 3 mins then set the speed to 2.5g

even though the sfp interface detail shows that it is synced at 2.5gbps,
I have the 1.5gbps down / 1gbps up package from bell, when I ran Bandwidth Test while the module is synced at 2.5gbps the result only shows 1gbps as seen in the attachment.
