2.7.16 to 2.8.22 upgrade?

Hello,

I noticed that there is a patch for upgrading from version 2.7.18 to any newer versions.

I have a box running 2.7.16 is that patch required to upgrade this box to 2.8.22?

You must bring your version up to the 2.7.18 first then upgrade to 2.8.x. This is because some things changed in the config, file system, etc.

Whre can I get the older verions from? I cant find them on the site anywhere.

no no, incorrect. you do not have to upgrade to 2.7.18 first. the patch was intendded for the people that ALREADY had 2.7.18

you can safely upgrade to 2.8.22 directly, if your license still supports upgrading.
