2.8.21 nstreme NOT compatible with older versions?

hello all,

I couldn’t connect older clients (v19, v18 and v15, every version running in station mode) to v21 running as ap-bridge with N-Streme on 2.4GHz-g-turbo - simply it was not compatible. However, 2.4GHz-g (without turbo) worked OK (v21 : AP, v19: client).

After upgrading running v19 to v21, clients were disconnected and they wouldn’t connect. Downgrading to v19 with g-turbo solved all problems and everything is fine. There was NO change in settings, everything was tripple checked.

I didn’t try v21 client with g-turbo against v19 AP with g-turbo.

Anyone with similar problems?

Sorry,

All our demo MT radios were off either with a major customer for lengthy trials or a supplier for some other testing.
I did intend to test .21 as soon as some of them come back.

Currently in v2.8.21 the G-turbo band doesn’t work.
We are checking where is the problem.

You can use this wireless test package - it has fix for the 2.4Ghz G-turbo band. Note: it doesn’t have Winbox support.
