Have a weird problem since the 2.9.14 upgrade, previous version installed was 2.9.13.
Problem that is occuring is that all routes appear to be present, but I have been loosing one route that has two dissent connections to another router, configured as a main and a failover. Routing is configured by OSPF and has worked fine since this version change. What occurs is that some traffic still appears to pass though the links, but unable to ping and also unable to connect to any host on the oterside of the network. Only resolution has been to reboot the router and everything starts working again, but will spontaniously stop routing for no reason.
Another weird problem that I have come across in my testing of this problem is that when i disable an eithnet interface, and the reenable it shortly after, routing for that interface fails. And I am unable to pass any traffic. But I do notice that OSPF routes from neighbour router is there through that interface.
Would like to see this resolved as we will be starting to use the BGP routing protocol for ISP load balancing.
I cant say we have the exact same problem (routing-test) because we dont use OSPF, but something similiar whereas the RIB stops updating itself and therefore an enable/disable of the interface or other routing changes dont seem to do anything.
Problem reoccured over night, after hours staff just rebooted it without making a support file. Going to have to revert to an older version. Have people upset.
Aditional update, durring the problem the majority of traffic passing though the router was interrupted. But allmost all SNMP and ICMP traffic was unaffected.
How soon the routing-test will be not in beta ? as we install 2.9.14 and running BGP can not work unless we install the routing test. but need on stable session.
